This course is intended to offer an overview to AI, Machine Learning, and ChatGPT ideas. We will use a hands-on approach to teach students how to develop AI models and address real-world challenges. Learners can have a better understanding of what AI can achieve by engaging in experiential learning. We will be applying a machine learning tool to generate an AI model without any code. Hence, this course is appropriate for students who have no prior programming experience.
1. Introduction to AI and Machine Learning
- What is AI and machine learning, and how these algorithms have evolved over time.
- Successful deployments of AI and machine learning in businesses.
- Potential biases and limitations of AI and machine learning algorithms.
2. Market Segmentation with Orange Software
- Understanding cluster analysis and its applications in market segmentation.
- Building a cluster analysis model using Orange software, a freeware for machine learning, data visualization, and data mining.
3. Unleashing the Power of ChatGPT
- Understanding ChatGPT and its capabilities.
- Using ChatGPT for business insights, office applications, and personal enhancement.
- Hands-on activities to experience ChatGPT in action.
*This is a full-day in-person course for business executives. This session costs $500 per participant. Learners are asked to bring their own laptop computers to the session. We will notify you of the course location once it has been confirmed.
#2 data analysis foundation using R
The distilled essence of R data analysis - An accelerator course to sling shot your skillset
This programme is designed for learners with little (or no) programming background, and it can equip them with the foundational skillset needed to perform basic data analysis using R programming. This course strips away any non-essential components in a typical R course, and focus only on specific areas are critical for data analysis. With modular 2-hour lessons, learners can select the topics that they would like to strengthen in based on their proficiency and budget.
Learners can choose all these topics, or just select the ones that they need. This course is conducted over zoom.
1. Basic R Manipulation (2hrs, $100)
- Creating datasets using Pandas DataFrame
- Joining datasets
- Importing and Exporting datasets
2. DataFrame Subsetting Essentials (2hrs, $100)
- Getting specific rows in the DataFrame
- Getting specific columns you need in the DataFrame
- Getting the data based on filter conditions.
3. Data Wrangling using Tidyverse (2hrs, $100)
- Cleaning problematic dataset
- Transforming raw data to more usable format.
4. Data Visualization (2hrs, $100)
- Learning when to use certain charts to communicate key insights.
- Creating key charts using R GGPlot2 package.

#3 Data Analysis foundation using python

This programme is designed for learners with little (or no) programming background, and it can equip them with the foundational skillset needed to perform basic data analysis using Python programming. #4 Machine learning Analytics - R / Python
Deep-dive into key A.I./Machine learning data analytics
Today, we live in a world awash with data, and core Tech based on A.I./Machine Learning has become part and parcel of our life. However, we have not become more enlightened, nor has our life improved as a result. Conversely, we may even feel more helpless with the passing of time.
Why not equip yourself with knowledge of these A.I./Machine Learning skillsets and take charge of your life? In this course, we shall deep-dive into the following algorithms, to dissect them and understand how they work. Then we will be training these algorithms to understand the patterns in our data, and using them to generate insights and/or to forecast future trends:
1. Linear Regression (2hrs, $200)

3. Logistic Regression (2hrs, $200)
4. Cluster Analysis (2hrs, $200)
5. Decision Trees (2hrs, $200)
6. Artificial Neural Network (2hrs, $200)

Learners can select all these modules, or simply pick the ones that interest them. The pre-requisite is that learners need proficiency in R / Python, and they are strongly encouraged to take the 'Data Analysis Foundation using R' or 'Data Analysis Foundation using Python'. This course will either be conducted using either R or Python, and the class will commence based on class size and the programming language preferred. All lessons are conducted over zoom.
